Surgery is Monday. I'm as physically and mentally prepared as I will be.
About two weeks ago, during a weight training/core stability class, I realized I was ready for surgery. I was starting to lose capacity and my performance had started to decline.
I've completed almost everything on my pre-op to do list. Legs are waxed, hair is cut, voice- and e-mail out of office messages set, pre-op registration completed. Just a few more things to do: wash my (new!) workout sweats, pack my bag, select a few books, make sure my iPod's loaded up with good stuff.
I'm (almost) ready.
